YE and GE

Hey everyone! Nice to see so many people hanging around this place... Thanks everyone for reading and for tagging. Well... Before I begin, a birthday shoutout to Charissa. Happy birthday! =) Okies now that thats done... Saturday was YE's longest bbq! And it was an awesome day without any rain. Well went down to church to eat my fill and play games... Mostly soccer, taboo and cards. The food was good... Some of it was uncooked though cos most of us were inexperienced bbqers... Hmm why didn't I get the runs? Haha I wonder. Yay taboo was the first time I got 6 points wow. I always get 1 point or somewhere around there. But I got kicked out of the first round of the TaiTi tournament. Ouch. Well the only thing to comment about the bbq was that no one else my age was there... It seems they're getting further... Shu, Amanda, Charissa where are you guys? It feels like I haven't seen you all in ages... I still talk to Mel once in awhile... But haven't seen anyone of you onli

IMCB

IMCB! Woohoo the slackiest 3 days of my JC life... IMCB on the whole was pretty interesting. Considering we learnt somethings in the slackiest of ways ever. If only school was like that =P. We learnt about transcription factors, specifically Nuclear Factor Kappa B. Well, won't go into details, cos I'd probably bore you out haha. If you wanna know more just ask me personally. First day. I woke up at about 7:30, took the mrt at 7:45 and reached at 8:15, which was pretty early cos the thing only started at about 8:45? Hmmms spent the time waiting for the rest of the RJC peoples... Cheryl, Michelle, Elizabeth and Xuan Hong (Who never came booo, hopefully not cos of GP CTs) so... I ended up as the only RJ guy there. Booo. Oh well, went for safety briefing, which made me realise there are so many ways to die in IMCB haha. Which is pretty cool in my opinion. Fire, Radiation, Electrocution, EtBr, Infected needles etc etc. Everytime I remember the safety briefing I can't help thinki

Lousy

This week has been so lousy for me... One of the worst weeks in my life. I did lotsa things I never should have done, and I found out that someone got hurt real real bad just because of me. And I'm losing my appetite. Which is not good, considering I have gastric, and I'm already so thin. Don't worry guys, I'll try to eat more. Haha it all started on Wednesday, after Guitar Ensemble farewell. It was a pretty nice farewell I must say, and the atmosphere was good. But couldn't help feeling real sad that they were all leaving. And they might never have anything to do with guitar again. I miss em... Yeah then heard we lost rugby 10-15. And in a real agonizing fashion as well. Wednesday was low. Real low. Thursday started off rather ok, till bio lecture. That was when some people from my class decided to go for Netball 3rd 4th placing between RJC and TJC. Without telling some people in class. It made me really pissed, and I wanted to boycott it initially. Stormed away fr

Lucky

Don't you wish you were as lucky as this guy? =P

RPG of Life

Hi guys... Koped this from PLAN's blog, and I think this makes a whole lot of sense to me. I know some of my class people have read it already... Just wanted to share it with the rest of you guys =P. Thanks Plan for letting me use this. I'll return the favour haha. Plan's RPG guide outline thingy lvl 1-7 You start off as a newbie. you have absolutely no skills. no stat points. you are nude. you have 0 armor. you are completely harmless. Thankfully, you are assigned to a guild, and your guildmembers feed you and buff you up to earn exp. you crawl around in happy-happy land, playing with toys and killing porings for exp to level up. before you know it, you are power-leveled to lvl 7. lvl 7-10 you meet some slightly tougher monsters here. they require you to up your intelligence stat, by learning alphabets and numbers. nevertheless, its still pretty much a smooth-sail. you defeat most of the monsters with ease. piece of cake. lvl 10-12 you begin to meet up with fellow players.
Haha its been a nice weekend I must say... Though not as nice I expected it to be... Had class outing to East Coast! Haha it was kinda funny cos only 5 of us went. Me, Lawrence, Shane, Leonard and Qing Yuan went to eat Macs then have a round of pool and bowling... It rained so we didn't cycle or anything haha. Me & Qing Yuan 1 Shane & Leonard & Lawrence 0 Me & Shane 1 Qing Yuan & Leonard & Lawrence 0 Me 2 Lawrence & Leonard 1 Wow I managed to hit in 4 solid balls in one shot. Tyconess! Didn't bowl though. Went to the area between Citylink Mall and Esplanade to meet Ihtimam, Kashwin, Jheeva, Vivek, Carol and Debbie. Plus some people not from our class, Ashvin and Prabs. We played truth or dare. Though I hated truth or dare, there wasn't much I was forced to reveal anyways. Well went to eat dinner with Leonard and Lawrence, and then went home. Saturday... Hmm went to school to finish off with the guitar souvenirs with Ling Ting, Hyqel and Irwet

Break?

Hey guys... Sorry for the longgggg break in posting. My two bros are having exams one after another, and well, my parents don't really let us use the com during exam periods. Thus the long break. Forgive me haha. Hmmm... Feel like having a longer break from blogging actually. I started blogging with a purpose, but I guess since that purpose is already fufilled, the only reason I'm blogging now is to let you guys know how I'm doing. Some of you guys see me only once a week, some of you guys seldom have the chance to talk to me. So yup. Another reason why I wanna stop is cos I realised that I've been making promises on my blog which I never keep. Like when I promised to post photos, promised to create a song chooser thingy, promised to blog about my class. Oh well I'm kinda disappointed in myself for not keeping those promises to all my awesome friends out there. Well forgive me again haha. From here on... I'll just give weekly updates when it comes to a few aspec

Labour Day

Hey guys... Happy labour day, though I don't think there's really much to be happy about no labour. Haha. Anyways... I'd like to announce that... I'm Music Director of RJGE! Woo hoo. I think its a pretty good post, especially because I'll be doing some conducting, as well as teaching the junior ensemble next year. Which is gonna be cool. I think I'll start preparing guitar notes or something. And I've made my first major contribution to rock as well. I've asked Mr Mulyabi the school techncian about whether the PAC would be free for Raffles Rock bands to use on certain days without having to pay... And he said yes! Wow. And now we've got some place to practise in school. Feeling extremely good about rock and guitar. And I know that somehow I've made the right decision. Oh yeah... And I've got a way to bring guitar, jazz and rock (3 rival CCAs) closer together. More about that for later posts. Arghh... The Chelsea vs Man U game was really reall
