S03H Everything's getting normal in and around school... Lots more breaks, lots more free time, lots more interesting things to do. Participated in Interhouse Championship Chinese Chess today. Haha first time playing CChess in a major tournament. A bit rusty, ever since the class craze for CChess ended a term ago. Still had most of my skills though. The previous times I'd participated in an IHC for Morrison I played IChess, which I wasn't that successful at. This time CChess was pretty decent. Final results: MR 3rd, 44 points. Result Tally: 4 wins 1 loss Reached B48 at around 2pm with Kevin. And we teamed up with Yong Sheng to form a 3 person team. Each house is allowed only 4 teams of 3. So 4 teams from BB and BW competed, as well as 3 teams from MT and 2 teams from HH. Total matches all of us had to play = 5. And it was 1 point for win, 0.5 points for draw and 0 points for a loss. It is done. Well... I guess thats all thats needed to be said. The burden is gone, and thats all that matters. This week was much better, thanks to everyone around me for making it easier. Could tell that some people held back on purpose so I'd feel better. I guess that helped. Thank you. This week was full of pleasant surprises, not to mention birthday celebrations. Warning! Angsty Post. 4 more days... Final Stretch! The race is nearly done. And I'm glad. But its been one horrible week after another. Its so weird how once one thing crumbles, everything else seems to crumble and fall to pieces. And I'll have to admit to myself... I'm getting depressed. Even though I act as if nothing has happened and I seem to look alright. The pain is still growing, gnawing and consuming me. Time to get rid of it, right here right now. *** S03H Fantastic. Hey guys... I guess I've sorta overestimated the pressure of juggling my rock, guitar, piano and H3 commitments. I'd expected myself to burn out by midweek, which was approximately Wednesday, then die for the rest of the week. Although I did burn out on Wednesday, after piano I felt strangely... Good. And the rest of the week felt like a breeze. Even though there was additional prac on Sat it was really nice. Glad I'm feeling that way. Keep it up Ben Low!
