In Your Hands I'm so secure, You're here with me You stay the same, Your love remains Here in my heart Chorus: So close I believe, You're holding me now In Your hands I belong, You'll never let me go So close I believe, You're holding me now In Your hands I belong, You'll never let me go You gave your life, in Your endless love You set me free, and showed the way And now I am found Bridge: All along, You were beside me Even when I couldn't tell Through the years You showed me more of you Haha... Wells. This is part two! All about by friends and cousins and what I feel about them. They've all been keeping be so secure and safe, and so has God! Thanks to everyone! Cousins Dad's Side Elaine Shanny Serene Omi Jody Desiree A group of real funny people! Haha. I go to my grandma's house every single week to go see my relatives. These are the guys that perk up my day! Omi and Des are the jokers most of the time, Jody is real quiet, he's in CJC... Ela

Soccer Power!

Wells, watching cahmps league now though its really early in the morning. Barcelona's tied at 1-1 with Chelsea. Haha. My prediction: Barca to score through Samuel Eto'o again and win. Chelsea don't have Arjen Robben! HAhahaha. Well, Champs League Standard has been great. I enjoyed the matches I've watched this week. Been doing my homework while watching too. Some people may think that I'll get distracted, but SOCCER is Power!!!! Hahaha. Yeah. Got Pt with the Sec1s. Got to know them a lot more. Got a Sec1 Strike Partner - Eugene. Got to know some more people... I think I don't know everyone yet, but they're a fun bunch. I take back the comments I made in earlier posts. Tang Hui Yao's in RIGE!!! You know, Singapore's Brainiest Kid, Tang Hui Yao? Yeah. Cool! Hahaha. Scores: Team1 3 Team2 5 I scored twice for Team2, then switched to the other side. But I didn't score for Team1 although I had about 8 chances. Hahaha. Not "zhun" enough. The

No More Soccer Module...

So sad... No more soccer module. It just ended. It was assessment yesterday and the criteria were as follows: 1. Runs up to collect passes 2. Shadows an attacker 3. Stay between the ball and your goal 4. Take clear shots on goal Not too difficult. I've been doing 1 & 4 since I started. This is the key to scoring cool goals! Especially if the keeper saves the goal on the first shot. Running up to collect the ball on the rebound will catch the goal keeper unawares. Like that Ronaldo goal in Man U vs Everton! I think I scored most of my goals like that! 2 & 3 was more difficult, considering that I was a striker. Haha. But I tried. I think I'm ok! The next module's either tennis or rock climing. Both are ok! But I hope i get tennis... Alright! I can finally strike some stuff off my list! My cousin came on Sunday! :) She liked the worship! She told me that the drummer was good! Haha. I'm telling the truth ok? She said maybe she would take up drums too although she&#

5 Day Work Week? Bleagh...

Haha. One question for you guys. What is the 5 day work week for? The answer is nothing, if your teacher keeps asking you to come down on Saturday for trainings. Haha. Argh. If you're out there reading sir, can you please not have extra trainings, please... Too much of a good thing is a bad thing. The more practices you have, the more easier it is to hit our peak early. Then by the time we reach SYF all our energy would be drained... Yeah. Performed at the old folk's concert in my school on Friday. The old people were nice. We played Tico and Chinatown. The only problem was that we didn't have enough mikes. Dunno if the old people heard us or not... I think we played well! After that, the chairman (Yu Sheng) treated me, Chin Heng, Karthik, Hyqel, Yu Zhuo and Sherman to Swensens at J8. We joked about the chairman's name. (It being the new year: Lao Yu Sheng) Then after dinner we ordered on regular earthquake. Then after eating it, we played with the dry ice. Haha. People

Slacking...

Yo... I'm slacking in the library now, nothing to do... Wells, I scored once more and made two more assists! Yeah! Goal Tally: 11 goals in 24 games in 8 sessions Well, I'm tired after all that thinking and goal scoring. Yeah! Have a nice day... I'm going to sleep now...

Shadows of My Past...

Wells, this is section number one of the research I've done on myself. Some of you people may think I'm crazy, doing stuff like that, but I have my reasons. During the Christmas Season, Aunty Karfoon gave me a note. The sentence that really hit me was ths one: "Don't aspire to become anything other than the Benjamin God has designed." Only then did I realise that I didn't know what being myself was all about. I didn't know true my natural habits, my true relationships, my true likes, my true dislikes or my true personality. Neither did I know what God wants me to be... So thats the reason. Hope you guys understand that I did this for myself and for God, but I'm telling you guys all these stuff because I believe that as my friends you guys have a right to know... Well... I was born on the last day of July, in the morning at about 10am. By birth wasn't special or anything, but totally normal. My grandma and mum came up with the name Jun Jie, and beca

Getting Bored...

Everybody's getting bored of school now. I guess the novelty of being a sec4's worn off... Soccer Module is getting more interesting. Now its teams of 8! Haha. My team joined with Dali, Chin Heng, Samuel and Syukri. Not bad actually. I was expecting less of every one since the dip in form and addition of more members. And good news... My form's back! I scored once and made three nice assists that led to goals! Kenny's on form too, and so is Shou Yee. I think the problem Kenny had with his friend got solved... Shou Yee's wearing better shoes too. Haha. Goal Tally: 10 goals in 21 games in 7 sessions Heard about the ball vending machine at Somerset. I want one ball! Can one of you guys help me get one? Its $26. I'll pay you guys back for your help... I'll be Blogging a lot more today, so look out for stuff!

Our Cell Rocks!

Yeah! Our cell rocks! Yeah! I love my cell! We're getting really close to each other... Ice skating was great. Cass and Martin did really well. Mel was fine by herself, but needed some help to cross the parts with no wall. Shirley and Audrey needed support so Martin and Cass were there to help! Me... I was ok. All six of us went around the ring together! Yeah! So united... Met Ernest at bugis and went to take Neoprints. Haha. Martin's funny. Haha. Next cell outing's gonna be at my place! Well, the firsy days of CNY were a blur. All I remember was money. I earned $39.95 from all the gambling. Haha. I have no idea how that 5 cents appeared. Haha. Anybody who wants Mahjong lessons come to me! Lessons will be free of charge! Well, did some research on my background, asked around for opinions from my closest friends in school and some people not as close. Found some stuff about myself. Yeah. Gonna tell you guys soon... Wells, Happy Valentines Day!

OW!

Whoa! CNY's here! Happy New Year guys! Hey shu! Hey shir and juan! Be your valentine? Hahaha. Cough. Hahaha... Well, if you guys say so.... Well, its been an interesting build up to the new year for me. Monday in school was pretty weird... I'm in charge of the sec1s for the guitar ensemble, being the vice chair and all, but I'm not feeling very optimistic about it. The previous brushes with sec1s wasn't that good. We'll see. Hyqel got the sec2s, the more rowdy bunch. I'm not sure what to do when I have lessons or trainings with them. We'll see... Goal Tally: 9 goals in 18 matches in 6 sessions. Argh. Our whole team's suffering from a major loss of form... Yen Siang's tired from his basketball matches, Shou Yee and Kenny are complaining about the teacher not allowing them to take off their shoes... (Without shoes, you get better control of the ball but you get injured more easily) Trying to find form is really hard, especially if you have no

Happy CNY!

Yoz everyone! My mom baked lots of CNY goodies and I'm gonna bring some to YE! Haha. Her biscuits are really good! I realised that I forgot to update the EPL scores... Well, all of you guys should have known the results of the matches on Tuesday and Wednesday, so I'll skip it this time. Helped Mrs Phang with checking oranges. She kinda caught me loitering around the canteen and asked me, Chin Heng, Yu Sheng and Samuel to do the orange checking thingy. Did at least 7 boxes of oranges before we finished. Mrs Phang treated us to an orange, which nobody dared to eat. Found some bad ones, and threw them away. Actually I proposed do leave the bad ones in so that we would have a break from lessons... Haha. But we didn't. We're not so bad lah. There are a lot more people suffering out there besides from us. And they're suffering in a worse way than us. Watched Hotel Rwanda for CLE. Its about a hotel manager in a country called Rwanda, who leaves the hotel open as a re

Numb...

Alright! Soccer was fun! Goal Tally: 9 goals in 15 matches in 5 sessions I joined a new group with new people, Benny, Paul and Eugene. They're pretty persistent players who thrive on working hard to score goals. They're really stable players. I still didn't have much form though. It came late in the last game. That game was kinda like a Man U vs Arsenal thriller. You know what happened? I got pit against my previous team. Yeah. Haha. Kind of weird playing against the people who you used to help. In the first few minutes, our team had a 2-0 lead, but lost it as Kenny pulled 3 goals back and Shou Yee scored one to make it 4-2. Soon it was 4-3, then 5-3. Then we pulled back 2 more goals through Benny and Paul, making in 5-5. Haha.... Then it was the last few seconds of the match. Paul kicked the ball, and it fell to me in midfield. Nobody was coming, and Shou Yee was off position at the goal mouth. I dribbled awhile, then aim and kicked. And the ball flew and entered the

Alright!

I guess everything's ok now... Alright! Good for everyone. Found lots of BLOGs of other people. Not bad... Lewis has got a really cool BLOG! HAha... So do Hui Juan's cell. Hafta gain up for lost leverage for the soccer module. Time to score more! Yeah! Forgot my Piano Books yesterday. Haha... After training Sec2s, had to go back and get it then go for piano class. I ended up half an hour late. Luckily the teacher didn't scold... Just realised that I haven't been practicing... Well, better gain lost leverage for that too! Go YE! It time to show what you guys can do! Going to the wake with Jon, Paul, Martin, Rachel, Jo Chan on Thursday. Wells, its a time for remembrance of the past, and looking toward the future with new insights and deeper introspection. I hope thats the spirit in which everyone of us is going there in. I mean theres no point going if you don't understand the significance right? Well, see you there if you're going too...

Cheer Up Guys!

Yoz... Soccer Module was fun today but I wasn't in the mood for it I guess. I didn't score anything and did nothing constructive to help my team at all. Goal Tally: 8 goals in 12 games in 4 sessions Wells, I guess seeing everyone so sad has made me kinda worried for everyone. The feeling of loss has already subsided for some, but in comes in a more powerful emotion, the emotion of sadness. The first and youngest I ever felt extremely sad was when I was around 6, when my grandmother on my mums side died. She was a really nice person, and although my chinese was really lousy, and she spoke only chinese or dialect, we had a special bond that no one else knew. Until now, I'm really not sure what that bond was... Well, she passed away due to a haemorrhage in the brain after complications from a stroke. I saw her fight with death in the bed where she stayed in Bedok. At first I didn't understand what was going on. The concept of death was kinda foreign to me. To see
