POP2!!!

I know this post has been a long time coming, so I'd better get it up and going! Well POP2 was my first major project as a supervisor, and boy was it tough. Well the planning stages were packed pretty tight, and I've never had to work under so much time constraint itself. In a way, its helped me deal with this current semester now that I look back, working under stress and within tight constraints of time. I've also seen that I'm insanely adept at admin and planning details, but not so much with direct hands on management. First we start up with some pics of POP! I thought this was a really cool pic of the bass! I really enjoyed playing very very much. The atmosphere at the stage!  After awhile it rained so here's the atmosphere at our makeshift playing area. Well lets go into detail now. The week before POP I was absolutely swamped, going back to church every other day. God was frequently on my mind, and prayer was fervent and strong. I serious

L.A Noire

After 2 weeks of not posting I'm finally back! I admit it has been rather difficult, mostly because of juggling my work and being with Van with my personal to do list which includes anime, piano and running or ps3-ing. Wonder if I should decrease the number of things to do in my to do list per day hmm... Well, the past 2 weeks have gone by well! For my group we got grilled considerably much less, and for that I'm rather thankful! Continuing with academics had my first mid term test last week on thursday on Chinese Heritage, which was rather doable considering the vast scope it could've covered. So 3 more important deadlines have passed agreeably! For now its recess week! And I'm looking forward first to my Japanese "project" of having to show students from Waseda University around NUS on this friday, a

Soul Surfer

Its the end of week 4 of school, and did my first piece of work for the semester: a 20 min presentation on myelination of the brain on monday. And so the work begins! For the next week I've got 2 more pieces of graded work to do: a 3 page reflection paper about the concept of "Tianxia" and a 20 min presentation on my lab stuff, both due on Thursday. Still handling well! =D So the reading of 1 Sam has come to an end, and the theme of the whole book seems to be that of obedience: it was the one thing that separated Saul and David, giving one success and the other failure. Obedience is always difficult, and any of us having a laugh at Saul's expense will probably have to think more about the ways where we've gone our own ways instead of His ways. On Wednesday was Vanessa's birthday, and we had a great time! I was mostly at her place and had quite a few surprises in store. Using my mom's recipes I baked her a cake haha! But well the most important message
