Well... Its the time of the year when I sit down and seriously think about the past year and hows it been. I guess I can sum it all up with one word. Awesome. I guess I can sum up my life with the very same word. But, well its really been an awesome year, thanks to all my friends. Hmm... I started the year with a few things to do. Heres the list. Fitness Training Get my family closer Evangelise Improve my soccer Bring my cuz to church Play the bass Discover myself Hmm, I completed 4 out of 7 from this list. I guess thats quite ok. Time to come up with a nicer and better list. Here what I've thought of... Learn the Hiragana and Katakana Improve my bass Record one song for Eden-Sol Write my own story Help in the Christian movement in RJ Remember to do WM scheduling on time Get my other cousin to church K. Hope I manage to better the 4 out of 7 I completed. Went out bowling with my pri. sch. friends. Serene, Joel and Shi Xian. They're all pretty much the same I guess. And as alway
On a super spiritual high! And I'm loving it. The events this past week have been awesome. Uh... Ok. Well. On Friday, YE was down at Paragon, acting and dancing for God in front of the people at Orchard! When the first dance started, it started raining. Hmm... My first thought was... Well. Who cares about the rain? Just do it! And we did it! I'm so proud of everyone. But most of all, I think God was definitely glorified on that day. Went home after that and had a crazy time trying to 'ungel' and 'unglitter' my hair. I'm never ever touching any form of hair product again. Especially hair spray. And I'm never touching any make-up either. On Sunday, I went for the Chinese Cong service to see my grandparents get baptised in the name of God. It was just awesome. I could imagine angels rejoicing in the heavens cos two more people just got saved. I felt like the battle was already won before it had already begun. The real challenge was later, when we had to per

Post Camp

Post Camp Hmm... Saturday post camp was kinda cool. Went for lunch and almost everyone had chicken rice. And then we went back to church and played cards with Martin and Marcus while waiting for the Ang parents to arrive. The Low family rocks. We kinda trashed them in Hearts, Taiti and Bridge. Haha. Well. Sunday was back to church for another round of practices. It was then I discovered the Narnia thingy and had intentions of boycotting it. Paul told me what Narnia was actually about but well, I still can't go on next Tuesday! Have a gig to play at with Eden-Sol. Well, after the first practice it was like down to service and we went to listen to Uncle Wee Seng's sermon. Watching the scenes of Jesus being flogged and falling down was really hard to bear. Ow. Imagine someone doing that for you. Hmm... Afterwards we were supposed to go for dinner. But guess what. I kinda figured that the aunty was supposed to lock upstairs and NOBODY brought down the stuff. So I rushed to tell Tim

Camp

Hey guys... Hmm... Its been like more than a week since I've updated? Sorry bout that. I've been at camp to prepare myself physically, mentally and spiritually for the performance at Paragon. K. More about the camp... Pre-Camp Tuesday and Wednesday were insanely hectic days, especially Wednesday, the day of the camp. I thank God for hvaing brought me through those days. Stuff I did: 1. Complete Storyline for FFX until before final battle with Sin 2. Go Bowling 3. Go to collect $50 from school 4. Go Jamming for the gig on 27th 5. Pack my bags 6. Go for Piano Hmmm... Thats all I guess. It was kinda like a mad rush for me on Wednesday, when the collection in school was at 10am, piano was at 11am, and jamming was at 1:30pm. Bowling scores: 108, 86, 71, 92, 89, 132 Underneath the Son Composed by Teo Guo Ren Verse 1 All is broken, humbleness is all that's been left Liberty for all is free In the darkness, we used to be locked in within But now it’s all in history Verse 2 This is

Ok.

Hey guys! Uhh. Lets start with soccer! Liverpool 2 Boro 0 Birmingham 1 Fulham 0 Blackburn 3 West Ham 2 Bolton 1 Aston Villa 1 Charlton 2 Sunderland 0 Chelsea 1 Wigan 0 West Brom 2 Man City 0 Newcastle 1 Arsenal 0 Man U 1 Everton 1 Tottenham 3 Portsmouth 1 There you have it. Looks like Arsenal aren't going to make it, and Wigan and West Ham, who started strong, are beginning to stumble. Liverpool's getting real good. 10 clean sheets. Char will be happy I guess! Thursday... Went to return guitars, and then when to Guoren's house for a short acoustic jamming session and to listen to two of his songs he's written for the band. Nice. One rock and one pop-rock. Arrangement is good. Probably would be catchy enough for audiences if they can catch the lyrics. Did a bit of touch up on his singing voice, theres always a tendency for us guys to go out of tune in the high, low or accented parts. I have a cool bass run to play in the intro for the rock song. Yay. Saturday... Well. At

Lots

Awesome week. Just awesome. Busy like almost half the week? Sigh. And not getting enough sleep. Darn biological clock. Go abroad once and it gets all messed up. I wake up at 3am instead of 10am. Zzz... K. Enough of complaining. Sunday was great. Good to be back in church. Did a bit of dancing. Played the birthday song for Audrey with the worship team. Haha. Well, happy birthday! Went for lunch with my bros, then home by taxi. My bros were like asking me which band was louder, Hillsongs or Planetshakers, so we had a little experiment. Left ear: Running After You-Planetshakers Right ear: What the World will Never Take-Hillsongs And guess what. Those were my ears they were using. Monday... Went bowling with my cousins Om, Des, Elaine, Shanny and my bros. Topped for all rounds. Scores: 127, 108, 105 Hmm... There was this group of JC students I think at the first lane. They played one round, then decided to order some food and leave the lane empty while they ate. How inconsiderate. Well, I

Spain Part 1

Hmm... Part one of the post about Spain! Hehe. K. Hope I cover most of it... Part 1-Plane Trip Guess what. The plane trip was boring. Guess why. No games, no stuff to do, all cos we were on Turkish Airlines, and there were no inflight movies... Flew from Singapore to Bangkok, then Bangkok to Istanbul, then Istanbul to Spain. Huh. Having to watch the same safety movie 3 times in the same trip was kinda weird. The food was good though! Part 2-Barcelona Went to see a church, then to see the Nou Camp! The stadium of FC Barcelona. Kinda awesome if you think about it. Went to the shop and bought a ball! Woo hoo. I bought a ball branded with the official european mark! And for 35 dollars only. Didn't get to fo into the stadium, but the exterior was nice and had a homey feeling. Barcelona 2 Peace Team 1 The Peace Team is made up of Pakistanis and Israelis coming together in the name of peace. Good game, and good sportsmanship. Ronaldinho was cool. I watched the match on TV though. Not at t
