Darui

And so mid term break's almost finished with. Managed to most of the stuff I had to, and now left with studying for my Japanese test. Next weeks gonna be a pretty tough one, with 2 tests and a presentation - my first of my uni life. Still have minor things to settle for the bio presentation, like printing handouts, the article and my script, not to mention saving it in a safe place so that I don't lose it on the day of the presentation. Today's Music Ministry Open House was enjoyable, managed to teach some people more about the bass, though there were no new sign ups. Besides that it was really encouraging to see the younger ones be able to play and glorify God with their talents. Perhaps some time ago I too encouraged the older people with my talents, and that is a precious thing to keep in mind. Might forget to submit my jap holiday homework so better put something here to remind me. Need to staple it nicely as well or my tutor will reprimand me haha. Nothing much else to

Yuujou

The best reminder of how friendship has made you the way you are is when you see both one of your oldest friends (Zhuo Jing), and one of your newest (Kah Kay) on the same day by chance. It was just such a wonderful feeling of happiness though the meetings were short. But God definitely brought them both to me for a reason, to encourage me and strengthen me for the week ahead. School was more crowded and noisier than usual, since it was Valentines Day... Tried my best to avoid the throngs of people... Got blocked a couple of times, which got me mildly irritated but not too irked, so it was alright. Could see the excitement on some of their faces, the expectation of something special. Well as for me, it was just another simple day with simple pleasure. =D If there's one thing I've learnt throughout my life it's to give thanks for my friends every single day of my life, not just on one special day. Much more meaningful, don't you think? And here comes the last week of the

Carmen Sandiego

Skipped one of my tutorials for the first time in my uni life... It was accidental in a way. After my Japanese Studies lecture I was really really tired. Went to the library to sleep... Used the netbook for awhile, then drifted into sleep. By the time I woke up the tutorial timing was over. Oh wells no harm done, there's no marks allocation for the cog psych tutorial, and I guess it was my body's way of telling me that I really really need rest. Have started playing Carmen Sandiego on facebook since it came on yesterday. Its pretty addictive in a way haha. After all those years of playing it only as a computer game, seeing gameshow series about it on tv and all, having it as a fb game feels great. Besides that started on Yu Yu Hakusho, another famous earlier era anime... One of the forefathers of action anime. All right I think I shall go get some more rest.

Resolute

I guess God's helping me with one of my resolutions in His own way... Sending me many trials that I fail to complete or bring out the worst in me, so that I'll slowly learn to go easy on myself, even when I fail. Good thing most of the consequences are of no significance. I'm gradually learning, so that's good. =D Happy CNY everyone! Don't let the snacks give you sore throats and drink more water alright. Haha.
