Where The Cold Wind Blows

I'm back! And surprisingly I'm not looking too bad with short hair. Instead my body's looking much better with all the training. Ok so I shall run through certain things about ns that are not classified pieces of information. Trainings Physical, but not overtiring. Certain ones are fun, others are tough, and the rest are knowledge that soldiers need to know. The difficult part is not getting saboed or kena pumping. Friends Got a total of 5 RJ guys not including me in my platoon. Michael Yeung, Andrew Teh, Lai Jishun, Low Jian Liang and Jon Seetoh. Mam's nearby... In my company too! Get to see him quite often. But not that often. My section people are pretty easy going people, nice to be with, not too overbearing, and not too aloof at the same time. Just nice IMO. Lots of different personalities, but all click together to form a pretty good unit. Bye Roo!

Well after the initial adrenaline rush of excitement about going into army soon its now reached a period of calm just before the storm. Just feeling oddly emotionless about my impending entry into national service. Trying to complete a couple of trivial things such as Persona and watching the last 20 episodes of the yugioh series. But doesn't seem like I'll have enough time. Thanks goes out to all those who've been praying for me. My church, my YE friends, my Christian friends. And to those who've been by my side and encouraged me. I'll honestly miss all you guys. And I'm sure you'll miss me too. My facebook fluffpet Roo already misses me. How sweet of her. Thank you too Lord for the journey ahead. I shall discover new ways of unveiling your glory and letting it shine. I know nothing that comes in my way is too difficult. Before I go... Heres one final snippet of bible knowledge I'd like to share in conjunction with what we've learnt in the youth lea

A year of changes... Beginning to unfold! First change: New QT Material! I've decided that since I've finished the one year bible reading, and I've seen the outline of the entire bible more clearly through this year, I should find some way to link it all together. So I dug into my cupboards in search of something that may help... And I found a bible handbook by Dr Henrietta C. Mears. Hopefully this'll help me link all the pieces all together and find deeper significance in whatever I read. Besides guiding you spiritually, it gives some info that you'd never be able to discover yourself. Talk about piquing someones interest in the bible... Some interesting trivia I've learnt about the bible in the first chapter so far: Jesus quotes from 22 books of the OT 19 times in Matthew 15 in Mark 25 in Luke and 11 in John Revelation quotes the OT 245 times Longest book in the NT: Luke Most chapters in the NT: Matthew! Longest verse: Esther 8:9 Shortest verse: John 11:35 Lon
