Quiet Days...

Have you guys ever looked at the sky and noticed weird stuff? Last Tuesday, the clouds were kinda in a weird position, arranged like a wave... Then on Saturday the moon was bright yellow in colour... And today the sun was a bright, firy red? Wow... Nature's something really weird. We had a match, three RIGE Sec4s vs three RIGE Sec3s. Heres the score: RIGE Sec4s 10 - RIGE Sec3s 2 Haha! The Sec4s are great! Me, Yan An and Karthik did well! Karthik scored 4, I scored 3 and Yan An scored 1 although he had blisters on his feet! Good job guys. The two remainding goals were own goals... I love my CCA! The Orientation preperation is going smoothly. We've already planned the war games and station games before the 5th or March. I'm in charge of YAYLAND with Hyqel. Hahahahaha..... We have to revamp the notice board and the website too! Yups. Lets do it! Worship on Sunday was great, but I wasn't in any mood to celebrate. I had a feeling something would happen soon. The

BUSY!!!

I'm having a really crazy build up to the weekend... Friday - Guitar Practice, Church Practice Saturday - Guitar Practice, Storm RJ, Piano Lesson, Church Practice You know how far they are from each other? Guitar Practice is at Bishan, Piano Lesson is at Yew Tee and Church Practice is at Queenstown. Imagine me going here and there like a lunatic and you can imagine how my weekend was. Worse still, I haven't touched my homework until now... Well, I guess all these stuff are for my benefit so I shouldn't be complaining... Our CCA's getting really pumped up. We're organising a kind of Orientation for the Sec1s, and this'll give us a chance to bond with each other within the main ensemble. I really like it... Cadiz is a nice place. Hopefully we're going there at the end of the year as a CCA trip. Yeah! Honestly, although I've heard that these year's Sec1s are cute, I had my first brushes with some of them and things are NOT going well. Well, the

Lots of Stuff...

Wells, the first house meeting of the year was held on Monday. It was kinda typical actually. But theres one thing thats definite, the fact that sec4 Morrisonians rock! Woohoo! Ever since we came to the school, we've beaten all other sec4 Houses and we've lifted Morrison house from bottom place to second! And we're gonna be champions this year. Yeah! Goal Tally: 8 goals in 9 games in 3 lessons Soccer module was great again. Our team scored a total of 15 goals in the three matches this week! Woohoo! Went to see my cousin's CO concert at the VCH. It was great seeing all my old P6 friends who had gone to RVH. I met Song Hua, and saw Serene Neo, Jing Hui and Jun Xiong, and of course my cousin Serene Low. RVCO actually composed a song by themselves for the percussion instruments. Really cool! Went to eat Macs late at night after that at West Coast with my uncle and Daryl. Valentine's day is on 14th Feb right? Its pretty soon. Too bad I don't have anyone t

AI 4!

Well, American Idol 4 has been really cool so far, and its gonna get even more cooler. Reality TV shows are great! I'm watching the apprentice and the amazing race too. Haha... Wonder how I wake up in the morning with that little sleep? Managed to lay my hands on my cousin's Teenage Magazine. When I read it, I was pretty surprised. "You mean teens out there have that many problems?" "Yeah..." It kinda shocked me. I realised how much I didn't know about the world around me. Everyone around me just seems so happy... Are they keeping things to themselves? I'm also happy that we have God, so that we don't have to think so hard about these problems, we can always confide in him right? I've just realised I'm a little weird. I haven't had such serious problems before... Haha. Maybe I'm thinking too much into that. Haha.

School Life is Great!

Alright! Soocer Module rocks! We learnt about trapping high balls with our thighs or chest. Really cool actually. For the lastest lesson, my teacher imposed a three touch rule. Anybody who touched the ball more than thrice had to turn the ball over to the opponent. We also had to score grounders. Kenny joined our team. He's a great strike partner! With Shou Yee and Ben Ho at the back, we were pretty much able to deal with the attacks. We won all the 3 matches we had and I scored 4 times! Haha... Woo! Feeling good. Goal Tally: 5 goals in 6 matches in 2 lessons Gonna keep count... I'm getting really busy with Geog stuff. It seems like Chionh is giving more assignments than the chinese teacher, and I'm really getting my hands full trying to collect them. Still feel really good about school though. Went for the Geog field trip to watch the Omnimax movies Antarctica and Forces of Nature. I think I've seen Antarctica before when I was VERY VERY young... I remember th

Happy Anniversary!

Well... Happy anniversary to my dad and mom! Yeah! They are such a great couple! Went to celebrate by ordering a feast at the hawker centre... There were crabs, hotplate stuff, and a lot more stuff. To tell the truth, I wasn't really a great fan of crabs, but I enjoyed the time our family had together. Chinese New Year's coming up, and we're suppose to play two songs for the elderly people who will be coming to RI for a dinner. Last year I didn't go cause I was slacking, so this year, I'm gonna make it a point to go! The SYF Preperations are going pretty well... We're not peaking that fast, neither are we playing very lousily... Just nice to tell the truth. Finally, something for PE that I really like! The soccer module! Alright! We had to form groups of four and play with different teams, using the basics of shooting, passing and dribbling. My team consisted of Ben Ho, Yen Siang and Shou Yee... Shou Yee is a pro! The way he dribbles reminds me of Christia

Go Singapore!!!

Alright! Singapore go!!! I love Singapore!!! They beat Indonesia again to get the Tiger Cup! Yeah! Nor Alam Shah scored in the 5th minute, followed by a penalty by Agu Casmir in the 40th minute. The Indonesian side pulled one back through Elie Aiboy in the 74th minute, but it wasn't enough to erase the 4 goal deficit! Singapore won 5-2 on aggregate! Yeah! The EPL is getting really messed up though. Chelsea's now leading by ten points. Thats something to be expected for Chelsea to be leading, but by a margin of ten points? Arsenal's form is dipping and so is Everton's. Man U, Liverpool and Boro are too far behind. Chelsea's gonna win for sure... Sherman was really right. I felt that I was a bit "churchian". After the previous week, I've realised that by willingness to suffer wasn't quite there, but I'm working to it. To be a true Christian, I'll improve. YE's getting more organised, and thats the way like it. More practices, more c

Anime Crazy!!!

I'm going anime crazy! Those anime that they show on Central at 11pm have got me really addicted and I've been watching them every Wednesday to Friday. Hellsing's crazy and addictive although its kinda warped and weird. But who cares? I've just realised that I keep on saying that... Haha. Jomel's doing really well! Awesome! Happy learning guitar... Really hope you can come on Sunday cos I'll be playing the guitar! I'll introduce you to the gals if you come... Some of them are really great! Rachel's a great guitarist, maybe you can learn some stuff from her too... Hopefully the pros Tim or Moses will be there too so they can teach you stuff. Well, Wednesday was busy, went to train the Sec2s... Their guitar techniques aren't as good as Jomel's, and they kinda lack co-operation amongst each other. I guess I was kinda like that in Sec2 too... Haha. After that went for piano and came home real late... Theory classes are kinda getting interesting

Wedding Bells

Yay.... Congratulations to my cousin Tammy again, for getting such a wondeful and funny husband. Hope he didn't get too drunk last night... Got a chance to catch up with my relatives on my mom's side. So I guess the trip down was good... Well, I kinda figured out something. Although I was troubled on Sunday, I'm ok now. I looked in the book of Job for my answers, but the truth was that on that Sunday itself, everything already had been revealed to me but I was concentrating too much on a single part of the talk... Well, the simplest solution to my problem was to be 'strong and courageous'. Pray and obtain strength from God even when in suffering. If I'm dying one day, I'm gonna do just that. I realise that I've been thinking too much about myself and not about God. Thats somewhere I'm gonna change. Aunty Kar Foon told us that it wasn't just about us, but abuout God. I guess I kinda forgot about that. Thanks for your help and concern guys... Me

Thinking About Stuff...

Well, congrats to my cousin, Tanny who just got married to a guy named Albert. Hope you guys have a good marriage, and stay together till death do you part... You guys are a great couple! I'll be there for the dinner later today so see you guys... YE was kind of rough for me... I was thinking of something again, and every time I think of stuff, I kind of drift off away from everyone else there. Its been a common occurance since primary school, but these days its been happening more frequently. Well, I was thinking about Aunty Sharon. I was kind of confused... What gave her the strength to believe in God even though she had cancer? If I were the one who had cancer, the reality would be that I would HATE God for what he had done to me. The reason? Well, I love the world around me too much. I love milo, I love my school, I love my family, I love church, I love all you guys too much. Thats my greatest weakness I guess. If I were to die one day and be taken from all of you, I would b

BENLOW'S ELEVEN

Haha... Friday was kind of great. Me and ten other Guitar Ensemble people put up a great display at the Raffles Trail for the Sec 1s to choose their CCAs... It went quite well I must say... From 3 onwards, we played Jiro Hasebe's Summer Wind for them until about 5pm. Thanks all you guys for helping! From 5 onwards, most of them left and we played with four people left, playing Quartet in D, and the parents started coming in... Nervous! I was the one who talked, and I felt quite at home talking to students, but then, parents? Luckily I didn't blank out. Haha... Thanks to those who stayed late, namely Chin Heng, Josh and Daniel. You guys did great! You guys were so polite that many of them decided to talk to us... It ended at 8, and we cleared up the place and went home, feeling really happy. Good news! Singapore beat Indonesia 3-1 in the first leg of the tiger cup. Indonesia started strong, but Singapore scored against the opposition in the second minute. Then the best strike

School...

PSLs out there... you are missing quite a bit... Well, had the first PE lesson of the year... Clocked in at 12:48 for 2km run, could only do one pull up... Haha. Better start working out or something. Maybe go to the gym or use the dumbbells or something... Daryl got scolded by his teach on his first day cause he didn't bring his GIRO form. What right does a teacher got to scold a young innocent sec1 on the first day of school? He didn't even know that he had to bring the form... Starting to use RI jargon again. Might confuse most people talking to me. Haha... I'm the Geog Rep again... Madam Chionh (the HOD of Humanities and also our Geog teacher) made me do lots of stuff, like get a name list plus the telephone numbers and e-mail addresses of people. She made me do the cover pages for the two Geog Files. now i have to collect the holiday homework which is a gigantic pile of Board Games. Haha... Must work hard. Doing natural hazards for Geog now, watched a movie ab

Resolutions...

Wells, the theme of my BLOG this first term will be on change and self-discovery... At least my posts will be slanted to that direction... I really need to find myself and quick, before RJC beckons... My resolutions: 1. Bring my family closer 2. Go for fitness training 3. Improve my soccer in the soccer module in school! 4. Serve both in the bass and guitar in church, maybe lead one worship? 5. Evangelise to at least one person in school 6. Bring my couusin Jomel to YE 7. Discover my true personality Thats all I guess... Sorry Mel, for what my bro did. You know what they're like sometimes. Finished the catalogue until Christian Living 20. Feeling a great sense of achievement. Well, first day of school is over, and it wasn't bad (except that all other levels went for games except the Sec4s...) After meeting Bob Koh, we met our form teachers, then had SS (Joseph Wong), Bio (Jeffrey Lee) and Chem (Low Hsiew Hsien). Thats all from me!

Happy New Year!

Wow... Sorry for posting my new year's greetings this late... My dad took away the external modem to prevent my bros from playing. Haha. Well, doing my Geog project now... Bowling was great! I scored 97 for my first and 75 for my second. A bit off form... Only managed One strike and four spares. Paid 2o dollars for everyone's shoes. Those who owe me money, please return me the money or else... Just joking! That was a pathetic attempt at sadistic humour, Daryl's forte. Haha. Anyway, went for watchnite service with everyone after that. Listened intently to pastor... Felt really sad for the people elsewhere. Be strong and courageous... After the peace, went to sit with my parents and my bros. Was really surprised that Hui Juan came up to share. Great sharing! I think among the scores of adults around me, I clapped the loudest.... The next day was soccer. Argh... didn't score. Never mind. Was fun. Great to see Ivan again. Great to see Johnston, Kenny, Caleb , Junxu ,
