The Dark Hour Approaches...

Long post! Heya guys... Guess that with the year 2007 ending its time for a little reflection for most of us bloggers. Well, what can I say? This year has been tough, but the tougher its been, the greater the glory of God shines down on us and into the world yes? I guess there are definitely questions about the future left unanswered, areas of my life that are still waiting for completion. But the more I think about it the more I am assured. I have faced so much this year, and when I look back, I wonder how I managed to pull myself through. And thats where God came in. My strength comes from Him who is ever present in my life. Hosanna, hosanna! Hosanna in the highest! *** Eden-Sol You guys haven't seen this heading in a long time right? Heh its back! For now at least. The guys sneaked ourselves back into school for a recording session from 8pm to 2am on Thursday. And what other thing to record but our own single - Underneath The Son! We've done the drums, bass and rhythm

Know Him More

Ok I'm kinda glad that I finally got some time alone to reflect and think about stuff. The month has been really busy, full of holidays, camps, outings, stuff to do and what not. Alright so here goes. Won't be blogging much about the details of the camp. Instead maybe a couple of things I've felt during the camp. Ok I shall include a couple of things from yesterday's outreach service as well. 1. Its really great that everyone in YE can just bond together almost instantaneously. 2. The camp comm did very well in my opinion. There were places that could be improved, but it was well done. 3. Those prayer sessions every night with my room mates made the camp extra special. 4. I'm glad that more people are willing to pick up an instrument and worship spontaneously, as well as sing along when they hear someone playing. 5. The spiritual aspect of the camp was not lacking. In my opinion it was a stonger ministering camp than last year. 6. Last year we saw God's divine i

Aussie Salute!

Ok I'm back from Pulau Ubin, and I think all those who attended can say that it was a really great experience not only fun wise but also spiritually. Happenings around the camp will be covered in the next post! *** For now... Aussie time! Day 0 ~ At the airport... Woot how exciting! Airbus 380. Here we go... Day 1 ~ Sydney... At the airport, taking a look at the surroundings, and checking out the temperature. Oddly, it was cold. Although right now Australia is supposed to be going through summer. Hopped on the bus... Time for a city tour! Onto our first destination, MacQuaries Point. This is where the wife of one of the leaders of Australia sat a long time ago. Ok I admit I wasn't paying attention to the tour guide. Its a place overlooking the river and the city. Sydney Opera house. A pretty magnificent sight. Its getting old, but its splendor beats the Esplanade any day. Bridge! I remember in one of the Amazing Races a road block was supposed to be there or something like tha

Outings

Ok for this post it'll be about random stuff and pics from the YE outings I've had since the end of exams. 1. Prata Ok I'm a prata noob who's only eaten egg and plain pratas before. The only exception was the noodle prata on the day of Take.5 though. Met Paul and Martin at Al Ameen, a prata house opposite Beauty World. Had my first taste of a banana prata. (Yes, noob I know.) Got there pretty late cos I overshot the stop, and had to double back + walk. 2. Pool I've been having lots of pool practice these days. Went for 2 pool sessions with Paul and Martin. 1st session near the prata store Paul 2 Me 1 Martin 1 Me 0 2nd session at Bukit Timah Plaza Paul 1 Me 1 Martin 1 Me 2 Those two sessions were pretty much warm up sessions after rusting up over the exam period. Didn't fare too well. Kept on conceding free balls. But right now I think I'm quite on form thanks to those pool sessions. (Well on form enough to play well with the S03H people) Finally we played
