RISE Concert

Well, today's the day of my grade 6 piano exam and I can't wait to get it over and done with. The past few days were so hectic, ferrying myself to and fro from my teacher's house, staying until 7:30pm... I'm going to have along break from music after this... We're going on the holiday to China on Sunday morning, so see you guys when I come back on Friday the 5th. I guess its pretty cold there now. (Ben HO's been broadcasting the weather everyday on MSN) Well, looking forward to it. And, the RISE concert is coming next Sunday and...surprise! Its at YMS. Sure brings back memories of piano concerts there. We'll be playing Brazil and Summer Wind, hope the guys there like it. The audience won't be too much, so I guess we won't feel that much pressure. Who knows, I might be going back there to perform the IF WE HOLD ON TOGETHER solo at the end of the month (Because of piano concert). Too bad, I'll miss the later part of church...

Tired

Reached home at 7:30 on Tuesday. In school, I lost my lock once I'd cleared my locker... Then I had to go to piano teacher's house to study... I stayed for 3 and a half hours... Once I reached home, I was pretty tired, so I slept early and woke up early. Well, some good news.. I thrashed Hao Jin 4-0 in chinese chess, 3 times using both my cannons, and once I made him resign. And, Wednesday's the last day of school...

Man U won !?!?

Wow.. Man U won 2-0 Who would have thought of that? Given Arsenal's unbeaten run, it would have been an uphill task for Man U.. I guess the turning point was the Penalty, once Ruud had scored, it gave United the momentum to go on and win and it knocked the wind of of Arsenal's sails. Wondering what happened, because I didn't watch the match. Well, the trip to Sentosa for games was really good! Kudos to the organising committee of Sarah, Joshua, Ian and Hui Juan!! They did an awesome job. We haven't had this much fun in ages... Well, kudos to all those who participated too, you were the ones that made it nice. Credit goes to everyone there, gals and guys for co-operating among each other, and showing people how strong YE can be! I'm sure that people would want to join us once they have seen what we were doing. Honestly, its the first time in a long while I've seen the YE so united, even the guys were co-operating with the girls and vice versa. Once again, all you

Drums

Drums galore in the Art Immersion Programme!!! Well, all the players were pro, they played so fast and so hard that it sounded cool. Maybe I'll take up the drums...

Rafflesian Spotlight!!!

Wow!!! Finally, our school does something cool like organise a singing and entertainment competition on a large scale. The RAFFLESIAN SPOTLIGHT wasn't that spectecular, but kudos to those who organised it. The Deputy Head Prefect sang really well, and I'm beginning to think that the next Singapore idol should be him instead... Well, piano exams coming on the 30th, and I can't afford to slack... Have been muggin piano ever since the CT ended. Speaking of CT, I was really surprised at my results, I finally got an A1 for my Chinese!!!! The rest of the subjects were A2 and above. I'll be advancing to next year, thats for sure... I step nearer to RJC and a mixed school... Got trashed 10-1 in handball, should have been more aggresive and pressed for the ball. Maybe I'd better stick to soccer.

Staying up late

Watching the match between Deportivo and Liverpool on ch5 now... Can't help but notice that both teams are trying to make accurate passes instead of trying at goal. I'm quite bored now actually... Liverpool are playing really differently from what they usually play in the EPL; in the EPL they specialise in utilizing crosses from the flank or superb runs down the flanks to initiate attacks, but here, they seem to be passing the ball to gain momentum, which I guess is really safe and sound defensively but its not that strong offensively. Sturdy players like Murphy, Heskey dislike that kind of attacking, so I guess thats the reason Rafael didn't include them in the team... 80mins left and still nothing... Deportivo just haven't shone, and from their matches in the Spanish League, you can say that they aren't powerhouses anymore. Their attacking is non-existent (Sorry, I don't mean to be blunt), and their tackles are inaccurate. But give them a little credit...they&
