Been researching about Med stuff... And learnt a couple of new things about pathology thanks to wiki. Woo ok so some random stuff about pathology.
BENLOW'S SUMMARY OF PATHOLOGY
(Koped partially from wiki)
1. Pathology is the study of diseases, its causes, processes and potential cures.
2. Pathology is divided into two main branches: anatomical pathology and clinical pathology.
3. Anatomical pathology: The study of a body's tissues or cells to diagnose disease
4. Clinical pathology: The study of bodily excretions to diagnose disease
5. To be a forensic pathologist, you first have to specialize in pathology after medicine, then branch to anatomical pathology after that.
6. Which means a super long period of study. Aww man.
7. Reasons why disease arise include the following:
a) Trauma (People whacking you very very hard)
b) Infection (Bacteria or viruses entering your body)
c) Poisoning (Eating some weird chemical)
d) Loss of blood flow (Wounds or heart malfunctions)
e) Autoimmunity (Reactions from foreign entities in your body)
f) Inherited genetic damage (Certain genes passed on from your parents)
g) Errors in development (Something goes wrong with your growth)
8. Pathologists either work in labs or mortuaries.
9. Pathologists either do lots of autopsies or lots of experimental procedures.
10. Most other kinds of doctors working in hospitals have to rely on pathologists to give them information on what the problem with their patients are if diagnosis is not apparent initially.
I'm quite excited about it actually. Morbid for the typical person, yes. But I'm not exactly a very normal guy anyways. I really do want to do this so much.
More random info:
Second choice job ~ Criminal Psychologist!
Got a bit of inspiration from "Iron Man", the biography of Neivelle Tan, the dangerous gangster turned pastor in order to make that decision. My Dad passed it to me to read, and its a really powerful story of the change from a sceptic full of hatred, vengefulness, to a whole hearted believer changed by the power of a few words from the bible. And it all happened in a prison.
So perhaps... Maybe perhaps. I'll go there and see what I can do?

List of fun stuff I intend to do:
1. Watch latest Bleach manga and anime episodes
2. Watch latest Naruto manga and anime episodes
3. Play 1 hour trial versions of MSN games
4. A bit of experimenting on RPG Maker XP
5. A bit of experimenting on M.U.G.E.N?
Better do these before the next round of exams come around.
