Not Alone

After all the cog psych mugging, bio psych presentation preparations... Surprisingly still am a week ahead of preparations for my school work... Really cannot believe how everything just fell into place. With a great group mate for the presentation, with a sudden relief of stress with just entrusting the cognitive psych test into God's hands, and timely reminders not to rely on self but on God. Everything just went right despite of my own pride and sinfulness.

In mid week and till just yesterday... Felt drained as a result of studying and feeling not being able to absorb much of anything. But no worries, its been resolved. Because I know that I've put in my best effort, and God can do amazing things when you trust Him for providence.

Also feel that in Gihon there's a strong and pure desire to find God amidst the chaos of the world. People are actively asking questions, helping each other with the problems in their lives, and showing each other what true Christian living is about: not acting superior, but still discovering and understanding God for themselves in their own special ways. And finally the cell journal's back in my hands haha! After a year. =) Well, shall enforce it better this year. =)

3 weeks to exams and no more lessons! Can't wait! Haha.

Well, the week ahead will be pretty tough (more specifically tuesday evening till thursday morning), but I'm ready! Because I'm not alone.

Genus 2005

Genus Concert went just fine... NUS Guitar Ensemble is really proded! I want to be like that! Lets see... The guitars I want to master are Acoustic, Bass and Classical! Yeah. Actually this year's Genus concert was a bit interesting. They played a Japanese song and some jazz, but most pieces were classical. The Alto runs were really fast. I could tell that the Guitaron player was good too... Saw Josh there! He was there with his HCJCGE Friends. He was sitting in the row in front of mine. Slept on the bus today and missed the loop. Haha. Well. Had to alight, cross the street and take the bus again. And theres this ulcer right in the middle of my middle lip. It hurts whenever I eat something. But I need my food... Ow. I think the heatiness I get from sleeping less hours caused the ulcer. Looking forward to I-Learning. Can sleep more. Haha. Champions League was crazy. I woke up and went to school to hear the results. ManU Lost 2-0 on aggregate to Ac Milan. Barcelona lost to Chelsea 4-5...

Ride On

Recently things have been going really well. I've had a leadership position in my workplace for almost one year now and it is quite amazing how God has guided throughout the way. Despite this I feel that I have achieved the balance between my work, personal life and I'm in some sort of a flow that makes me satisfied about how things are going. I'm about to transition to another stage of it, and it feels that along the way God has prepared me each and every step. There's a lot to give thanks for.  Things are really cruising along. I've always liked a good, smooth drive and life feels that way at the moment. Its been a long time along a bumpy road but finally things feel right.  Praise be to God who calms the raging seas. Praise be to God who can be counted on for the hardest difficulties in life.  Not sure when the next post be, but I think if things carry on the way they are, more good posts are to come.

Gamble

It's been quite some time since the last post, and time has just been ticking on. I'm entering a new phase in my career in a new office at Queenstown. Things are good on the work front, as I've been given a vote of confidence and responsibilities despite my young age. Eventually I'll be getting re-designated as a Team Leader, and looking forward to it! It's a sign that I am well versed enough in the work. Another part of my life that has been looking up - playing keys/bass for the newly created Saturday Service for church. I feel that spiritually things are well despite the turmoil of last year. A great sense of fulfillment and meaning whenever I do that, as if I'm back to my roots. In terms of leisure the usual things:  1. Soccer - Late night matches (back to the good old days) 2. PS4 - Trying to finish off Tales of Berseria, moving on to Assassins Creed: Origin thereafter 3. Anime - Still watching the good old stuff that is still going on (One Piece, Yu-Gi-Oh,...
