Yups... Can those I sent SMSes to reply? Haha. I've waited for so long...

Friday! All the exciting things start happening. Went for guitar prac, had a real fun time listening to the small groups for the Concert. The Sec2s will have a small group! They're playing a Jay Chou Song... Which reminds me... Although I've been practicing my ensemble pieces, I realise that I haven't done anything about my small group pieces! Oopsy. I'll be playing 8 songs in total? Whoa. Haha. 6 Ensemble and 2 Small group. Maybe even in the band? Haha.

Then went down to Fort Canning. Met up with Paul, Daniel and his friend. Ate BK at PS and then walked to Park Mall. Park Mall's full of furniture shops. Boring... Anyways, climbed our way to the top of Fort Canning, and went in! Yay. Met John, Gerald and Yan Leen. Met Guoren and Gabriel as well... It got dark pretty soon, and the fun started! Planetshakers rocked, everyone was like jumping, lifting their hands, clapping etc. Awesome time of praise. Then it was Sonic Flood! Awesome time of worship. The lead singer shared his testimony about him having a disease that affected his intestines, but he still persevered with the power of the Lord! Awesome.

I took back one thing from there... "This is what worship is... We are living, moving arrows pointing to the Lord..." Even in our daily lives, never stop living a Christ like life. Yups.

Yesterday, went to ROM, which was at Fort Canning as well... Had wedding lunch at one the restarants opposite Bible House at Armenian Street. The Brownies there rocked. The bride and groom were one of my dad's side relatives. The father of the bride and groom were asking us to take a sip of wine. So I took some. Urgh. I vow never to drink wine again.

Then I went to church for pracs. Nice, simple songs. Sandra's playing for the first time! Come support her... Then went for dinner at Great World City. My parent's treat. Teppanyaki at the food court. My request... I didn't want them to spend that much... Went to get the latest Hillsongs disc. They gave a free armband thingy! Haha. Yay.

After that, went to school to run with William Tan, whos trying to break a record for the most distance run in 24 hours. Wow. Somebody breaking a Guiness world record. Right in my school! Sweet. I think I got my picture taken by one of the photographers... Saw Yong Sheng with Wu Lei (I think). Haha. Looks like a couple! Haha. Just joking. Ran 17 rounds, which is 9.8km. Of course I took rests in between. I'm not that good k.

Fun week! Whats even more fun is that... Its my birthday! Obviously. Haha. I'm 16. After all those years... I'm finally 16. Thanks you God! Haha.

Digimon

I'm feeling quite nostalgic and have been thinking about my childhood a lot recently. A lot of it is because of the retreat I just had with my CG members and how having such a retreat reminded me of days that were more slower paced and more relaxed.  It makes me want to relive some of my memories. Two ways that I've thought about is soccer - I've been watching some of the World Cup matches, and it reminds me of the late nights I had watching matches when I was 15 or so and just starting this blog. About how soccermugger came to be in the first place and how I wanted this platform to post about soccer scores and how I felt about the matches I watched. The other way is to watch old anime, and I'm thinking about revisiting the first ever anime I watched which was Digimon. It was televised in Mandarin at 8am, and I remember waking up early on the weekends to watch it fervently. Maybe its time to do that again.  In general I guess my inclinations are to be more at ease and ...

Gamble

It's been quite some time since the last post, and time has just been ticking on. I'm entering a new phase in my career in a new office at Queenstown. Things are good on the work front, as I've been given a vote of confidence and responsibilities despite my young age. Eventually I'll be getting re-designated as a Team Leader, and looking forward to it! It's a sign that I am well versed enough in the work. Another part of my life that has been looking up - playing keys/bass for the newly created Saturday Service for church. I feel that spiritually things are well despite the turmoil of last year. A great sense of fulfillment and meaning whenever I do that, as if I'm back to my roots. In terms of leisure the usual things:  1. Soccer - Late night matches (back to the good old days) 2. PS4 - Trying to finish off Tales of Berseria, moving on to Assassins Creed: Origin thereafter 3. Anime - Still watching the good old stuff that is still going on (One Piece, Yu-Gi-Oh,...
